Docs

Keynote and PowerPoint are told directly.

A tab still gets the arrow keys. There is no Canva adapter. Files stay on that computer.

Keynote

On a Mac, Pilot talks to Keynote through Keynote’s own interface. The slide moves even if the Pilot window is in front.

PowerPoint

On a Mac or a PC, Pilot talks to PowerPoint the same way — through the app’s own interface. Notes and the slide number are read that way when they are available.

A browser tab

Google Slides, PDF, Canva, and anything else in a tab get the arrow keys after the window is brought forward. That is the honest limit. Slide files are never uploaded to Pilot.

Zoom and screen share

Pilot drives the computer that has the slides. If that computer is sharing the screen, people on the call see the slide change. Pilot does not join the meeting.
